Puppy Basics (Puppies <5 months)
Beginner Basics (Puppies/dogs >5 mos)

Start training your puppy early and you will have the best results right from the beginning!  We will teach you how to communicate with your new pup and to help them understand the house rules and expectations.  Sit, down, come, stay, socializing, and loose leash walking will be covered, as well as methods for discouraging improper behavior such as jumping and mouthing.  Having a good basic obedience foundation supports future advanced training.
Better Behavior!  Continuing Obedience
This class is designed to increase reliability with your dog's basic obedience behavior.  It includes adding the 3Ds - distractions, duration, and distance - to basic manners such as sit, down, stay, and come.  Additional behaviors such as beginning heel work and wait will be covered, as well as important social behaviors.   Prerequisite:  Puppy/Beginner Basics, or permission of the instructor.
Competitive Obedience -  ALL Levels
These classes are a more structured obedience, designed to prepare handlers and their dogs for AKC obedience and competition through all levels. Drop-ins (with permission) are welcome for those preparing for an upcoming show.  Pre-requisite: Beginning Obedience or permission of the instructor.
Rally Obedience
Rally is a sport in which the dog and handler complete a course that has been designed by the rally judge. The dog and handler proceed at their own pace through a course of designated stations. Each of these stations has a sign providing instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. Scoring is not as rigorous as traditional obedience.  This class will provide instruction on how to perform the various stations and offer training time.
